For 2nd Generation SVT Lightning's & Harley models with supercharged 5.4
engines. This piece is designed
to replace the ribbed rubber
throttle body "boot."
Mirror-polished stainless steel Power Tube, use this part along with our S&B
Cold Air Lightning/Harley Intake kit for additional power gains &
to get rid of the ugly convoluted rubber throttle body boot, and can be
used with any other intake kit as well. Already have a aftermarket
intake kit? No problem, you can still use the
power pipe to replace the factory throttle body boot.
Includes new smooth Throttle Body Boot w/factory connections & Turbo
hose w/clamps (S/S, of course). The new throttle body boot will connect
to either the factory throttle body or any aftermarket oval single-blade
unit such as the "BaBolt," or the Accufab throttle body, WorksPower,
etc.
The Power Tube is a huge 4" diameter angled mirror-polished T304
Stainless Steel unit, mandrel bent of course so it's a smooth transition
into the throttle body. This is a significant improvement over the
tumbling effect & restriction caused by the factory convoluted rubber
throttle body boot.
Power gains average 5-8 HP, & can be more with higher boost/power
levels. This is a MUST HAVE for ALL supercharged 5.4's, enhancing the
best intake kit on the market for all supercharged 5.4 Lightning's &
Harley's, the Air Force One.
